Pros

The 8-week bootcamp was quite good. Sophisticated introduction to finance, Linux, Java, including some optional courses for C# and KDB+. Most of the lecturers were knowledgeable and friendly.

Cons

During my interview I was given an assurance that all alumni have get a secured job. Turned out that was not the case. Our bootcamp consisted of 16 software developers and only half got their secured job. I was on the unlucky side and was left with a long period searching for a new one, which at the end resulted in me leaving the company.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review, I am pleased that you found the training to be beneficial but disappointed that you wouldn't recommend mthree. The Talent team that you would have spoken to throughout assessments and interviews are there to set expectations about the course and placement opportunities with mthree. I have been involved in each orientation that is held day one of training where I make clear that roles are not guaranteed, We are always looking for ways to improve so will review where else we can reiterate this message. The training is completely free with no tie ins, but a permanent role on our Alumni programme is not guaranteed, although mthree is a business and the main goal of holding the 8 week training is to place you with one of our partners. We continue to work with individuals once training is complete and placements have continued to be secured so lots more of your class would have started or be due to start their roles. I hope that the valuable knowledge you gained during the training has helped you land your dream job elsewhere. Any other feedback please do get in touch, Kat katherine.snodgrass@mthree.com Head of Alumni Talent - EMEA

Pros

During my time at mthree, the company underwent significant restructuring, including numerous layoffs and the transition of departing from Wiley. While there were challenges, the mission behind the Hire, Train, Deploy model was strong in theory and gave me a sense of purpose in helping applicants find opportunities. The North America Talent Acquisition team was the highlight of my experience—led by people who genuinely care about their work and the candidates they support. They are what make mthree so great.

Cons

I've witnessed upper management fail to support an employee after a client placed them in a difficult situation. The entire model of mthree is to provide support from beginning to end of the candidate journey. That experience made it clear to me that mthree was not a long-term fit. The sales department has unstable relationships with clients, which directly impacts the quality and consistency of work available to consultants. As a result, those who complete the 8-week training program often find themselves in uncertain positions once their training ends. Additionally, upward mobility is extremely limited due to the company's small size, making it necessary to look elsewhere for steady career growth.
