Pros

Everyone I have had contact with is interested in my success. The training is rigorous and pragmatic. I feel much better getting started in this field after this program. After placement with another company (mthree's goal for its trainees), I am not stuck in a restrictive contract and can move to another job at my discretion.

Cons

As an organization, mthree is terrible at communicating to its trainees. A few examples: I was given only one hour's notice for a video call interview, our lecturer was missing for basically an entire week (while explicitly telling us each meeting would still take place), and I was unsure about our schedule around the holidays until two weeks prior. On top of that, mthree is like four companies mashed together, so links they send never look official. I had to reach out to HR to verify that a background check was actually sent by them.

Hello and thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience with mthree. We appreciate your positive comments regarding the support and interest shown by everyone you've had contact with, as well as the rigorous and pragmatic training that has prepared you for success in the field. We are delighted to hear that you feel confident in your career progression after participating in our program. We regret any inconvenience or confusion caused by the short notice for the video call interview and the absence of the lecturer. These instances do not align with our standards of communication, and we are committed to improving in this area. We appreciate your advice to provide advance notice of events, due dates, and absences. We understand that having more information allows you to plan and manage your program requirements effectively. We are actively working on enhancing our communication processes to provide clearer and more comprehensive updates to our trainees. We value your feedback, and we will take it into consideration as we continue to improve the program experience. Regarding the issue of multiple companies being integrated under Wiley Edge (formerly mthree) we understand that it might be confusing. However, it is common to use third-party companies to conduct background screening checks. Additionally, the client you are placed with will normally conduct their own background checks and unfortunately, this is not a step we are able to bypass. Thank you for sharing your insights and suggestions. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to provide the best possible experience for our trainees. If you have any further concerns or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself. Nicole Thomaidou Lead Engagement Manager nthomaidou@wileyedge.com

Pros

During my time at mthree, the company underwent significant restructuring, including numerous layoffs and the transition of departing from Wiley. While there were challenges, the mission behind the Hire, Train, Deploy model was strong in theory and gave me a sense of purpose in helping applicants find opportunities. The North America Talent Acquisition team was the highlight of my experience—led by people who genuinely care about their work and the candidates they support. They are what make mthree so great.

Cons

I've witnessed upper management fail to support an employee after a client placed them in a difficult situation. The entire model of mthree is to provide support from beginning to end of the candidate journey. That experience made it clear to me that mthree was not a long-term fit. The sales department has unstable relationships with clients, which directly impacts the quality and consistency of work available to consultants. As a result, those who complete the 8-week training program often find themselves in uncertain positions once their training ends. Additionally, upward mobility is extremely limited due to the company's small size, making it necessary to look elsewhere for steady career growth.
