Pros

Great place to work - with work / life balance.

Cons

Not as competitively compensated. Would prefer a true Commison based compensation.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and provide a positive rating - that means a lot! We are pleased you have had a good experience working at nVent over the last 9 years. Work-life balance is so important, we appreciate you noting our culture of flexibility as well. It is unfortunate that your salary expectations aren't fully met. We understand the frustration that happens as a result. Compensation packages are regularly reviewed, and we use market guidelines to attempt to remain competitive - but we're always looking to improve. We'll consider your comments as we work to make additional improvements to support our employees, particularly within the sales organization. We're grateful that you're on the nVent team and wish you well with your future career endeavors with us!

Pros

I had a great onboarding experience - my manager was very prepared with a clear and useful onboarding plan. The people have been very welcoming and the company culture is great.

Cons

The company is growing rapidly, which presents natural challenges - but the overall experience has been very positive.

Pros

Great place to work. Very considerate of actual career and life experience rather than focusing on having a degree. Management really cares about your success personally and professionally. Top-notch focus on career development. Cohesive, cooperative teams. Fair base pay for experience, good health benefits, and decent flexibility.

Cons

Your experience will be deeply influenced by which location you work at and position you work in. The company has a good framework for inclusion but in reality there are unchecked local employees who make it very uncomfortable if you can't pass for right wing. Raises are inconsistent and don't seem to be determined by performance ratings. Despite having a good review every cycle, I haven't seen so much as a cost of living adjustment post - promotion.
