Pros
"world's most ethical company" "we value our employees"
Cons
I'm sure it varies very much by org, but things are changing, and we don't really know what's going on or get a clear direction at our level. There's too many people across orgs trying to prove their worth that don't seem to understand what we do telling us how we should do it. Lately we're spending more time on goals, new processes, and planning than doing any real work anymore. The company is profitable from past successes, but eventually that's going to decline if we can't figure out how to develop new products and get them out the door. With all the emphasis on minute schedule planning for predictable execution there's little incentive to actually improve cycle times. There's lots of attrition and just a hope to attract and hire new talent which doesn't really line up to the message that we're the companies most important resource.
