Pros

Flexible work hours as long as you don't slow down your department. People are generally cordial and very helpful if you ask for help.

Cons

Must be flexible. There is an unspoken rule to answer emails during off hours to "keep the ball rolling." Makes it hard not to think about work when you should not be. Must be self motivated and resourceful to work here. No mentors so you are on your own. It's somewhat still in start-up mode so you must wear different hats. It can be stressful at times.

Pros

Ooma actually walks the talk on culture; leadership communicates openly and the collaborative vibe is real, always working on cool new things. Work-life balance has flexibility built in when life happens, which truly matters.

Cons

Remote = flexibility. Also remote = occasional existential loneliness. Trade-offs.
