Pros
I got recruited as I claimed I was a software guru with lots of start up experience. I had been fired from each of those companies within a year but these guys were kind enough to ignore it. I like to talk about software a lot like Python is great but I dont really know any coding. I love softwares written by others like VSCode, CLion and I like to market them but I dont write much software myself but still these guys respected me enough to keep me around. I love to gossip about people and the cafeteria is awesome where I could sit and gossip for hours while my colleagues would slog.
Cons
You are expected to work. You are expected to understand tough concepts. You are expected to mentor juniors which I think is really unreasonable. They don't accept your superiority when you say you have done lot of software in the past. You are expected to provide updates, who does that, they should just let people do whatever they want without expecting anything to work.
