If you're attracted to the new management positions that open up frequently - stay away. I can't believe Apple puts up with a "partner" that treats its people this way but they only audit brand standard unfortunately. Micromanaging at it finest. Im not even exaggerating, I pulled some of my business text books from college and its obvious the leadership here is uneducated or educated by an organization thats cruel. As a manager your life revolves around check list. You get threats regularly for not completing them. Training is a disaster. They went from lack of training to WAY TOOO MUCH! As a manager you seriously are expected to get all of your admin work done an hour before the store opens and if you don't on your own time and as a manager your required 80% of your time selling. The make you demote your employees every year, "we just don't do raises" is the moto. They are always saying they will be asking employees for feedback, year and a half later... never seen a survey or been asked. The pressure of Gamestop is ruining them.
