Pros
You get to sell a really great product (Apple). Additionally, my co-workers were generally great people, excluding management.
Cons
Everything about this company other than the product is absolutely awful. From the top-down, it's the worst company I have ever worked for. Upper management doesn't care, whatsoever, for the wants or needs of the sales associates, service writers, or service technicians. Complaints, when they are actually heard, are dismissed and generally taken with distaste by management. This company truly looks at all of its employees as faceless, replaceable entities. The micromanagement is almost sickening. Basic freedoms, like where associates are allowed to stand in the store, are a thing of the past, as they have a designated standing area. Better not lean on a counter! Out of the six sales associates that I worked with at Simply Mac, five of them left within a month of each other. The only reason it wasn't all six of them was because the sixth somehow lucked into a cake walk warehouse position. The pay structure is HORRIBLE. You'll be paid minimum wage + an insulting commission structure for doing a job that, considering what they ask of you, should be paying you AT LEAST $12 + commission. Anyway, I could go on for days about how terrible this company is, but the bottom line here is DO NOT WORK FOR SIMPLY MAC.
