Pros
Opportunity to work with an amazing team of creative peers.
Cons
Terrible management. Hired insanely talented, creative people who would quickly get burnt out and thrown out in the regular rounds of layoffs. They posture that they care about employees or their product, but in reality only care about profit. Instead of focusing on creating one really high quality, reliable product, they constantly change their goals and end up doing a dozen things badly instead of one thing very well. Overall felt like I was a machine churning out creative work that was barely used or in last ditch effort campaigns to grab money and not learned from. Also no opportunity to grow in my role, and with constant layoffs and talk about not meeting VC funding revenue goals, there was a perpetual feeling of uncertainty and fear that I was next on the chopping block.
