Pros

No one cares if you make a mistake or don’t know how to do your job so it’s pretty stress free

Cons

Too many people in high ranking positions do not know what they are doing which makes work difficult. The CEO shows a lot of favoritism to those who kiss up or look a certain way putting them in high ranked positions. Because of this the company seems to be doing poorly and there is a lot of ‘mess’. Marketing department actively try to hide all the negative reviews of the company by forcing employees to write good ones so beware of all the positive ones on here.

Thank you so much for writing a review about Springbig. Your feedback is important to us, as it will help us to learn and grow as an organization. As a reminder, we have an open door policy and our leadership team is available to meet with you at any time to discuss your concerns. Regarding management not caring about mistakes or whether employees know how to perform their jobs, this is incorrect. Springbig has mechanisms in place to manage performance and track errors. Managers review staff during their 30-60-90 day points and also perform annual performance reviews. Additionally, job descriptions exist for every position and we ensure that we hire people with relevant experience. Springbig has a 90 day “You fit/ We fit” period where we assess performance so that if an employee is underperforming they are given opportunities to improve and if they do not, they are managed out of the organization. With regards to promotions, employees are given an opportunity to be promoted from within, provided they meet the qualifications of the role per the job description. We share news of company performance in our "all hands" meetings, however if you have any specific concerns, please do not hesitate to contact anyone on the leadership team. This is an exciting time to be part of Springbig!

Pros

Sadly, none at the moment

Cons

Leadership & Culture: Leadership lacks alignment, which creates confusion around priorities and expectations. Frequent shifts in strategy without clear communication. Decision-making often feels reactive rather than thoughtful or data-driven. Insecurity at the top trickles down and impacts morale. Culture struggles with transparency and trust. Communication & Structure: Cross-department communication is inconsistent and can be siloed. Feedback is not always welcomed, even when intended to help the business. Important information doesn’t flow smoothly, causing repeated misunderstandings. Teams are sometimes blamed for issues caused by unclear direction. Workload & Expectations: Workload can be heavy due to constant pivots and shifting SLAs. Goals and KPIs change frequently, which makes it difficult to measure success. Lack of standardization across processes leads to inefficiency. Limited support given for new initiatives despite high expectations. Career Growth & Support: Career development is inconsistent and not always based on performance. Leadership changes can stall or reverse career progress. Recognition largely depends on which department you sit in or who your direct leader is. Onboarding for internal roles and promotions lacks structure. General Environment: Internal morale can be low due to uncertainty and inconsistent communication. Changes happen quickly, often without sufficient explanation or resources. Teams are spread thin, making collaboration challenging. Employee concerns are acknowledged but not meaningfully addressed.
