Decision-making often feels reactive rather than thoughtful or data-driven. Insecurity at the top trickles down and impacts morale. Culture struggles with transparency and trust. Communication & Structure: Cross-department communication is inconsistent and can be siloed. Feedback is not always welcomed, even when intended to help the business. Important information doesn’t flow smoothly, causing repeated misunderstandings. Teams are sometimes blamed for issues caused by unclear direction. Workload & Expectations: Workload can be heavy due to constant pivots and shifting SLAs. Goals and KPIs change frequently, which makes it difficult to measure success. Lack of standardization across processes leads to inefficiency. Limited support given for new initiatives despite high expectations. Career Growth & Support: Career development is inconsistent and not always based on performance. Leadership changes can stall or reverse career progress. Recognition largely depends on which department you sit in or who your direct leader is. Onboarding for internal roles and promotions lacks structure.
