Great company - Technology Project Manager sweetgreen Employee Review

I have been at sweetgreen for a little over a year (like half the head office staff) and it's been one of the best years of my career. I am not sure why there are people on here is negatively reviewing sweetgreen so much because that has not been my experience at all. If you can't take the heat, don't enter the kitchen! sweetgreen is a restaurant company that operates like a tech company and first and foremost it's still a startup. Growing fast. Know what you are signing up for. Anyone who knows anything about working for a fast growing startup knows they are going to have to deal with challenges related to building process and scaling - it's not a walk in the park. If you didn't know that - read up about what it's like to work for a startup! If you are the type of person who doesn't deal well with change, sweetgreen is not for you. If you want a walk in the park you can go work for an established business, maybe McDonalds. I assure you it will not be as rewarding or exciting. Here at sweetgreen you work hard and are rewarded well for your hard work. The culture is amazing. On top of that, you are rewarded with the most delicious, healthy food in the game. My stomach and body have never felt as good as they have over the course of this last year. Even after sweetgreen, I will be a multiple sweetgreen a week customer for life. There is a ton of room for growth and opportunity too. If I were you, I wouldn't read too much into the negative reviews, just come prepared to work hard and be able to adapt. Hope you join the team!
