Pros
Free salad, some very talented people at the company
Cons
There are many foundational issues at sweetgreen starting with senior leadership. They are at the whims of the cofounder's ever-changing priorities to keep up with 'what's cool' and are essentially 'yes men' rather than doing what's best for the business and their teams. There is absolutely zero job security and the company is constantly restructuring and laying people off for no reason. In my experience, there was no support for employees with families although sweetgreen tries to portray having strong morals and values. Priorities and KPIs changed on a daily basis and it's crystal clear departments are not on the same page and there is a lack of communication and vision at the company.
