Pros
It's not for everyone and that's clear from the reviews below. The CEO is intense and can get after you if you need a good kick in the butt for encouragement. While others may look at this as a con, hence why I am touching on it, it was a fantastic way to build up a company that historically had been just getting by before the new ownership took over. By no means was this a perfect place for me in particular, but I have watched numerous close friends grow in this company and take advantage of the opportunities John puts in front of them. I have immense respect for every person in this company and would urge others to give them a strong consideration when looking at potential companies to work for.
Cons
There are a few downsides, but it does not have to do with the management or environment in the company. For me, the clients that I was managing were unbearable. They were overly demanding and could not understand the process of building software out for their ridiculous requests. If you can avoid a few of those pain points, you'll be smooth sailing in this company.
