      Financially secure company - but wouldn't ever work there again

      Pros

      A work/life balance strategy that is not just an "on paper" statement, but they actually believe in it. Very flexible work arrangements.

      Cons

      Worst internal communications than any company i have ever worked for. Zero regard for American workers - they are outsourcing everything to offshore workers. A stated policy of not promoting anyone. In order to get a promotion you have to change jobs or change teams. No upward movement in your current team/position.

      Empower has many roles open, and is constantly growing. Most of these roles are nationwide remote roles, so people can live anywhere and have a successful long term career with Empower.
