      The more that the former Personal Capital gets absorbed into Empower, the worse it gets.

      Pretty decent place

      Pros

      Very successful and stable company. I've never seen anything like a real layoff in 17 years. In the last 10 years growth has been phenomenal and the management has done a good job executing on their business objectives. Depending on who you under there's a pretty good work/life balance. Full time remote for many positions. Most people are friendly and very willing to help their colleagues.

      Cons

      Mostly the same things that you find at any large company. Cronyism - seen plenty of incompetent folks fail upwards to surprisingly high positions in middle management. So much depends on what part of the organization you are in. e.g. One directors definition of unlimited vacation is radically different from another.
