Pros

Learned a ton about college counseling, VERY knowledgeable staff. I’ve learned a ton. Strong product that delivers value to families. People are generally nice and the marketing team is impressive and collaborative.

Cons

Be prepared to work evenings and weekends! You have to be available when families are available to meet.

Pros

During my years at Empowerly, I’ve had the opportunity to exercise my skill sets in a variety of ways. As a startup, I’ve found that people who are most successful here take initiative, are resourceful, and adaptable. Across different departments, you’ll find that colleagues are supportive and want to see you succeed. I’m lucky that I’ve been able to push myself out of my comfort zone in different tasks, roles, responsibilities etc. and have been encouraged and empowered through all of it.

Cons

Like any startup, as we’ve hit new growth stages, there have been tough leadership shifts. In some of these times of uncertainty and transition, trusting the process has had its challenges, but I’ve found that through each difficult stage, our team has gotten stronger.

Pros

I've worked at several college counseling companies and I think Empowerly has been the best one. The community is very supportive and responsive when I have specific questions about my students and they were able to get me students quickly. The office hours, training, and tools in the Empowerly Portal have made my life easier as a college counselor.

Some bugs with logging payroll and college verification process in portal
