Our culture is unique and very rewarding for anyone that handles autonomy and independence well. We work at a fast pace and are very customer and people centric. Relationships with our customers and associates are key components to our core values. There is a true care about people in our organization

Cons

This could be considered a con, but I see it as a pro. We have few canned solutions and tend to be have a "figure it out mentality". This leads to more creativity and innovation, but at the same time can be frustrating if someone is unable to adapt.

Emser Tile is an empowered environment. Encouragement comes from all levels to use your best skills, be creative, and drive excellence. I have experienced and have witnessed kindness and caring for their employees that I have never seen from any other company in my career. I have been with Emser for 12 years and have always been encouraged to do the right thing for our customers, thinking of the long term of the relationship. Our customers value us for our partnership and repay us with their loyalty. The company also has a sense of humor, making the daily task fun. Individuality is encouraged. Longevity is respected and valued. Excellence and success is rewarded.

Cons

Emser is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit. Some people can't handle this freedom and responsibility. To the rest of us, it is a valued asset of employment at Emser.

Pros

I joined Emser tile less than a year ago. I have never worked for and with such a passionate group of professionals. Every one you run into regardless of location or department is an A player who loves what they do and wants to do a great job! Emser cares about its employees, their vision and long term goals. No one is disposable or just a number.

Cons

Not enough face to face interaction between HQ and the field. Tons of communication but some face time would be great.
