Decent pay and overall opportunity. Really liked the people I worked with in my branch.

Cons

Important to come in making what you want because they're terribly stingy on raises. Very upper management heavy.

Pros

Most people are incredibly smart and talented. Generally a good atmosphere to work within.

Cons

Upper management is out of touch with how to listen to employees and implement changes. Too many people at the top for sure. Also they’re not willing to rock the boat with employees who have been there a long time. Inventory and ordering systems are convoluted and not geared for quick sales turnaround, and some sales people get operations assistance while others do not. Products are lacking or sub par for many markets especially stone. No slab yard for Emser so all stone is special order. There’s a surcharge on all invoices which are a big turnoff for large customers. Just roll the surcharge into the price to help the sales people.
