Enbridge is a great company that continues growing.

Cons

There is a lot of uncertainty. Depending on where you are working, some floors require more of you, others require potentially less, while those floors that require more of you are run in a chaotic fashion. It's normal to work hard, expect that anywhere, but requirements provided by certain levels of management can be a bit unrealistic. Some floors are also very politically motivated, meaning if you aren't buddy buddy with the management, you probably don't stand much a chance of being strongly recognized and moving along. Some floors focus on employee development, the process, while other floors only care about results. Some leadership

Pros

The people you work with are amazing. The pay is good, as is the time off. If you're in a good department then you will enjoy yourself here.

Cons

2 years of constant threat of layoffs and restructuring with no end in sight. A mentality of you should be thankful to have a job, rather than appreciating the work people bring to the table. Very poor culture right now.

Volatility. You are a number and unsure if you will be unemployed day to day. So many contractors due to the volatility that employment is hard to get Nd they have a "try before you buy" mentality, contract to perm or the promise of flipping to perm and it never happens.
