Pros
Enbridge has been putting a good effort into building a strong safety culture ever since the large pipeline spill they had in Michigan in 2010. They have 60 years of history to rebuild and are moving ever ahead at great pacer a company that has grown rapidly in the last 10 years. Enbridge started their conversion before the NEB mandated the requirements for a management system change
Cons
The changes are hard to do because of the imbedded historic culture where "Common Sense" is the methodology of the past and only the dilution of the new people in the company will help them get the old guard to convert to the new culture. The remaining old guard unfortunately are in the mainly front line management positions
