You get to see random people laid off every 3-5 years

Cons

You get to do the majority of the actual work while never receiving a pay increase or offer for fulltime unless you manipulate the right people or catch them with their pants down (leave/get another job offer) on critical work. Management constantly makes highly questionable decisions on top of outsourcing as much as possible to offshore resources that take 10 times as long to complete basic work at a lower quality.
