      Pros

      Good initial training, good/dedicated floor workers, pay is a bit higher than other places.

      Cons

      Poor staff to patio ratio, overworked, unsafe work load, unable to provide quality care or all assigned tasks, high turnover, dollar is the bottom line. Care more about profits than reasonable care. Their corporate says all the right things but is not ethical. Company was formerly Health South. The company was guilty of Medicaid/ Medicare fraud. Billions of dollars worth. They created an imaginary diagnosis then went patient shopping to find patients who could meet the imaginary diagnosis. Find anything and everything to bill for even if not truly needed.

      Income is the only pro

      Hi, turnover rate with staff both inside all of the Encompass locations as well as outside as a liaison. If you enjoy marketing, this is not for you. Most of your time will be spent in front of a computer and when you are done qualifying a patient for acute rehab you will most likely have the Medical director of each location deny the patient based off of insurance, or homelessness, or any kind of psych history, including depression. This causes the liaisons to feel that they are not able to help the patients and community that they serve. Poor training, poor leadership not many much room for advancement

      Great co workers, bad patient ratio to nurse

      Pros

      Teamwork, had a good schedule at the time where I only work 12 days out of the month.

      Cons

      Patient ratio can be awful. You can have 7 to 9 patients at a time.
