      If you like support from management...run!

      Pros

      Pay is decent for new nurses. They hire RNs out of school with little to no experience.

      Cons

      The micromanaging is insane! Management says its all about supporting their staff, but they don't. You constantly feel overworked and under pressure. They are all about the almighty dollar!

      they paid a good salary. The people there are friendly, generally speaking, and work together as a team.

      Cons

      The overall atmosphere is good, despite the tolerance of unprofessional work habits of senior management. Senior management "takes care of their own" regardless of the poor decision and poor work ethic of some in the senior management team.

      HealthSouth Largo is a danger to public health and safety. They are severely understaffed and treat the patients as if they are nothing more than a cash in for the corrupt corporate leader's bonuses. The leadership is corrupt and unethical. They do not support their employees and force them to work under impossible conditions. No work-life balance and overtime is mandatory with no time off. Patient safety and the medical professionals that work for them are put at risk. They have no morals or values for the healthcare field, everything is about money and profit. If you want to stay alive to get appropriate and effective treatment for condition needing rehabilitation... Stay away from HealthSouth!
