Good place to work

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Depending on your supervisor it can be a great place to work. My current supervisor is really good guy to work for and it makes it enjoyable.

Cons

Every job has it cons and just like I said in my "pros" your supervisor can make the difference. We have some in managerial positions that don't know the job and micromanage to the point of making it a misery to work.

Pros

Overtime opportunities are available, which can be helpful in the current economic climate.

Cons

This role is heavily micromanaged and very metrics-driven, with limited flexibility or autonomy. The overall culture prioritizes numbers over employee development and process improvement. I was hired as a temporary employee and later converted to permanent; however, the manager who hired me left the company the same week I converted. The position is fully in office. While the company offers a limited number of work from home days, they are only approved for unforeseen circumstances and require employees to disclose personal reasons, which reduces flexibility. Although the title is Accounts Payable Coordinator on the Inquiry Team, the role does not align with a typical coordinator position. Leadership is very top down, and professionalism and communication at higher levels could be improved. Benefits are below average, with continued out of pocket expenses even after premiums and copays. Overall, due to the work environment, leadership style, and lack of flexibility, I would not recommend this role.
