Pros

Great work life balance and pay was not bad.

Cons

Manager never follows up with our team and cancels 90% of our meetings so communication is not great. A lot of the times we work on projects and they would go to waste because the manager just forgets about it (he seems very lazy). I wanted to do and be more but you can't force a manager to put in necessary efforts and have a healthy work relationship with the team. overall its disappointing and did feel like I am wasting my time. also, upper management is a bit bizarre and rude when it comes to wanting to ask questions so you can perform better. It is almost forbidden to get ahold of one of the executives because he is too good to talk to you. I dislike to say these things about people I have worked with, but it is nothing but the truth. I hope management is able to get better training so teams can meet their goals and quota and feel like their hard work is valued. Keep in mind, this is for the team based in california and not the newer management that I am not a part of.

We're sorry you've had a less-than-stellar experience with your manager. We've begun rolling out manager training programs to make sure that our managers are better supported. We also appreciate and welcome your on-going feedback directly to your manager or to People Operations so we can ensure we're learning and improving over time.

Pros

Really talented and well-connected C suite plus a great board and complement of advisors. There are a lot of real smarty-pants people attached to this company which bodes well for the outlook of the org. Price Image Optimization is a breath of fresh air for retail pricing, and the data engine is pretty remarkable. All marketing buzz aside, Engage3 can actually solve problems that competitive products can't. Edris is the best CEO I've worked for. Brilliant, kind, and collaborative.

Cons

The company has yet to integrate the Engage3/Dexi.io sides of the business fully. It feels like both teams are pulling in roughly the same direction but there's a lingering sense of cultural disconnect. Many people are at or beyond capacity with regard to workload, with a handful of key personnel flirting with burnout - I would like to see process improvements/cleaner prioritization/additional hires to mitigate this. Compensation could be better and more consistent across different parts of the org.. In some cases, it feels arbitrary/in need of review. Internal communication could be much improved - seems to be a disconnect between C level/VP Level and middle management
