Thank you for your feedback. Start-ups are certainly fast-paced and the company can always do a better job of recognizing the people who work so hard to support the growth. Thank you for the honesty - we will make sure not to lose sight of the fact that it's a marathon and not always a sprint. In response to the title of 'struggling start-up' - we would like to call out that the company is experiencing over 100% year over year growth for over 2 years in a row and is on track to more than double revenue again. The company has added new investors, new customers, and expanded product offerings. Thanks again and best of luck to you.

Not the Worst, But Not Good Either

Pros

Convenient, downtown location, very close to BART and bus lines. Snacks and drinks in office. Good 'starting gig'. Some great coworkers.

Cons

Poorly managed. Poor concept. Badly run. Mismanaged, disorganized, and some disgruntled employees. In need of clearer direction. Overall idea for company will not succeed.

Thank you for your review, especially the part about 'some great coworkers.' And sorry you had a poor experience. I'll be the first to admit that there were times between 2014-2015 when we weren't focused entirely on all the right things and definitely weren't streamlined. Happy to say that thanks to the team, our investors, our customers, and our partners, we were able to re-tool and re-focus on our key value proposition and the results have been spectacular. To respond to your cons, I would like to call out that the company is experiencing over 100% year over year growth for over 2 years in a row and is on track to more than double revenue again. The company has added new investors, new customers, and expanded product offerings. We've never had more traction and the company is already succeeding. Best of luck with your future endeavors.

Bad experience

Pros

Easy interview, free snacks, good location.

Cons

Atmosphere of fear. Spur of the moment design changes. Supervisors more interested in looking important than helping employees succeed. Pressure to stay and work even after productivity falls due to burnout.
