A lot to list. Very low pay for industry standards. Benefits are probably the worst I have ever had including 401k. They only match $.50 (yes, 50 cents) up to $1.50. 5 years to be fully vested. Health benefits are a sub standard. This is going to sound wrong as its not factual and only observation, but favoritism is harsh here. Senior management seems to stay tight with those in the LDS community. There are some in leadership that are not, but its far and few between. This is a company with a STRONG connection to LDS like CR England is. It was hard to watch some leadership get trampled because an LDS friend took a position that didn't even exist till senior management created it to accommodate a friend. You have to expect this though from a privately owned company. Its their right to hire those they believe will stay within the core values they choose, religious or not. They have a hard time keeping qualified people due to turnover. Not moving with the times. This company is playing an analog approach in a digital world. Many other companies seem to have adjusted to the digital age with their clients, EL has not. You will find multiple companies offering what EL can offer clients with more efficiency. They just really seem to have a hard time with change. Their BBB rating is low with multiple complaints and seems to have no desire to change it. Their services are out of date and very non-competitive. Easy to lose business to another competitor thus making all your hard work for not.
