Pros

Enjoyed networking with other employees.

Cons

Management is quick to throw a team member under the bus. The continually increasing ramp schedule will weed you out in just a few months. (I only survived longer by switching departments every few months to reset the "death ramp") There is not a person on the sales floor that thinks they will make a long standing career out of England Logistics, they are all looking for new jobs. Once you start with the company, you sign away your rights to work for any other transportation company for a year...and YES they will ruthlessly go after you! Even though you live in a "right to work" state, they have Lawyer power to waste your time and money until you give up. If you want to get into a Tranportation 3PL then go elsewhere! You've been warned.

Pros

- Some pretty good folks work here, and I feel like I have made some great friends. - Free Soda - Free t-shirts sometimes - I have a pretty cool Logistics Coach

Cons

I'm not even bitter toward the company, but it is really not a favorable environment - Director makes you feel like crap - The pay seemed good until you actually figure the amount of time you put into being successful, and it doesn't match up - All of the reviews about the company turnover are very spot on. Essentially part of their business plan is for new employees to create new accounts, and after they are unable to reach a RAMP goal (of which less than 5% of people do), then you get fired and the accounts move to those 5%. Apparently this is "winning" according to Senior Management - There is a culture that exists (as they claim), but it is not a positive one. Every day the people around me are terrified that they will be losing their job. It's a horrible culture of fear. - Many more, but I don't want to seem like a hater. Ultimately I just wish I would have known these types of things before I started here. The initial job offer pays higher than a typical call center job, but the cost is pretty extreme when you consider the stress, negativity, and atmosphere.

Pros

People are nice, left to do what you want. If you get lucky, things will be easy. A lot of company events.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations. zero help. sink or swim mentality. Stressful. Luck over skill. Most last only months. No time to develop skills.
