      Pros

      Remote work available for some, benefits pretty good.

      Cons

      Pay is low and raises are few are far between. Not honest with employees. They will tell you something and then a short time later completely reverse position without notice. Job security is shaky, depending on the whims of ivory tower management who don't really know how the day-to-day works.

      Pros

      Mostly work from home but was considered essential to work in office occasionally

      Cons

      Work was overwhelming at times with very little compensation (salaries were in the 1980's range). 7 employees handled all reports and invoice distribution for the entire country which was very overwhelming. Job was eventually outsourced overseas for profit. After being told we were laid off management never reached out again after being with the company 25+ years. Once again, horrible management.

      Heavy workload as is typical for this line of work. Co-pay and oop costs for health benefits on family plan are high.
