If you take a day off, you'll be expected to make up all that work you missed when you come back. There is NO coverage. They only provide coverage if you take off 5 days in a row, and even then you'll more than likely need to do extra stuff to make up for the time you were not there.
They lie about pay rate. They claim they look at AT and PTA pay rates, but they actually don't. They get their pay rate info from a third party company who only looks at AT rates and base your wage on that (which is lower than what is reported by the gov). You're raise is also supposedly based on how well you did that year, which is a scale of 1-7. However, you are NOT ALLOWED to pick 5-7 for any of the values. I even made several impacts and changes that affected the entire company, but was only allowed to give myself a 5 in that one category and resulted in less than a 3% wage increase.
The managers love to flip/flop on things so they will tell you one thing and then the next day ask you to do the exact opposite.
Sales reps like to push their work off onto you, so you'll need to be firm.
No appreciation. You might get a "shout out" on a meeting call, but that's all you're going to get. The high ups got to have some parties and play games for the holidays, which they then broadcast to the staff across the company while the staff continue to work.
