      Ensono - a growing and collaborative workplace

      Pros

      I'm new to the organization (under a month) and have been very impressed with the recruitment process and the new hire orientation. Although the company has been around for over 40 years (in their previous incarnation of Acxiom IT), they act more like a start up. This is an innovative company where leadership is very engaged and making significant investments to grow the business. The people are friendly and I've found it very easy to collaborate and quickly get up-to-speed..

      Cons

      Because of the fast pace of growth, the company is still working out the kinks in a number of processes (HR, invoicing, etc.). Management is aware of this and working to scale these processes as the firm grows.

      Careful beneath the surface

      Pros

      Mid-size firm that has a strong history with mainframe services. Big enough to make a difference but small enough to adapt if they choose.

      Cons

      Well, they are PE owned and as such carry lots of debt. They can look good on the surface but struggle to grow and often sell solutions that they cannot support at the time. Management seems good but they are extremely one-sided have changed often. If you go against the elite you will be buried. I have seen it too many times. They do not adapt well to differences of opinion yet say they like to foster creativity. This is an old school, old boys company with lots of makeup on. Lots of it.
