Competitive initial salary. Awesome company events like summer BBQ. Approachable local management and CPE teams. Fun and energetic site culture. Ability to work flexibly and remote where possible.
Cons
Lack of development opportunities and external training along with no clear definition of different role grades. Poor corporate IT and lack of BYOD. Acquisitions completed with little to no thought of integration of culture, processes, engineering approaches and offerings. Immature and ineffective DevOps and Cloud Product teams. Outdated “on prem” engineering processes and tooling being rolled out to cloud and new offerings with little consideration. New client onboarding and support arrangements border on non-existent. Incredibly high staff turnover in some teams as a result of the above.
