Pros

The company is progressively getting better at catching up with technology and looking into the future state of the electric utility needs. They are working to install renewable generation to minimize the negative impact to the environment and upgrading many transmission lines and equipment.

Cons

During the last 10 years, leadership has changed. Some of the changes has been positive. New leaders has inspired the company to be more progressive by pushing for more renewables and upgrading the system to include smart meters and enhanced customer interface by introducing apps for mobile devices. Unfortunately, along with the good came the bad. Some of the new leaders have changed the overall feel of the company. It has changed from a family environment to a more cut throat feel. Many recent events have put a negative cloud over the employees. Many fear for their jobs and middle and upper management is hard to trust. Overall the company is doing a lot of good things in the utility sector but some of the current leaders are damaging the morale and trust of the employees.
