      Pros

      Easy. The experience engineers really care and show you the ends and outs of the company from all units. If they are going into the field they will ask if you want to tag along to learn more.

      Cons

      Boring. Not much to do. I finished my "assignment" within two weeks and had to find something to do. I would ask my supervisor repeatedly if he had something else to do and he would just send me to another engineer.

      Pros

      Real smart people around that you can learn a lot from. People in my group always want to make the entire process better. In the process of building a robust grid that is easy to operate. I've had absolutely NO complaints about my group. Good benefits. Company discounts on cars and hotels are really good. Alternate Friday off schedule. Never dreaded coming into work.

      Cons

      A lot of groups within Entergy have people that have been doing a task a particular way (old fashioned/traditional) for quite some time now. They are not willing to experiment and try to find a better way to do it. Some people do not take responsibility and own up to their work. It's always a blame game. Little to no renewable energy exposure due to low coal, gas and nuclear prices in all of Entergy's territory.
