Defined benefit retirement plan. Pay is good for the area.

Cons

Most departments where I work are understaffed. Many employees are close to retirement and counting the days until they can retire. Knowledge transfer from older to newer workers has been poorly managed. Horrible attitudes within the workplace. We transition from 1 crisis to the next without time to catch our breath. Poor performers are not remediated/demoted/fired. Good performers are rewarded with more work.

Great employee benefits and training outside of customer service.

Cons

Constantly changing policies without notifying employees of the changes within a timely manner. Everything had to go through corporate communication departments. It seemed that everyone was always in the "dark", even middle management in regards to where the company was going. Customer service was a joke - the company constantly hired new people to fill an empty seat.
