      not bad if you like to work all the time.

      Pros

      decent benefits with a steady job. most of the time regular hours, 40 hour, but It can get hectic. Plenty of opportunity to make overtime.

      Cons

      Even after a 10 hr workday, they call you out all hours of the day and night, even on weekends. No clear direction where the company is heading. Too many changes in too little time with no explanation.

      Pros

      One of the top employers in the state in terms of pay and benefits. A lot of opportunity for movement and growth being part of a multi state fleet of operations.

      Cons

      High stress environment. Workload overwhelming. Understaffed in most locations.

      Pros

      Entergy really cares for their employees. Many plants were union, and at our plant the union and management had a very great relationship.

      Cons

      Entergy caught a lot of employees off guard by announcing the closure of Vermont Yankee after spending many millions of dollars and months fighting the state of Vermont about licensing.
