Pros

The rank and file workers are great people that really care about the mission and their work.

Cons

Employment at will, and they will fire you without any notice, warning or feedback whatsoever just before probationary period ends.

Pros

Good mission. Solid benefits. Some smart people.

Cons

Most SVPs and CEOs can't make decisions. Only care about their agendas. Just a bunch of egos beating others down who are courageous enough to speak up.

People stay because of the people and the mission

Pros

Mission driven, some of the smartest people you could find, culture where people care about each other and often treat each other like family.

Cons

"Entrepreneurial" spirit leads to mission creep and lack of focus. Weird competitiveness among senior program leadership is detrimental to the success of the overall organization.
