Pros

I made some great friends while working with Enterprise. The management trainee program they have is incredible.

Cons

Enterprise does not support there management. Area managers are never to be found when you need help.

Pros

There's never a dull moment. Working in rental car presents many challenges that require employees to think on their feet and problem solve. I love that I never just sit at a desk all day. Every day is different and overall, the environment is fun.

Cons

Being constantly drilled by management to sell! sell! sell! yet also drilled to produce high customer service scores. The two do not go together many times, though management will swear that the two go hand in hand. Unreasonable sales goals for certain months that everyone knows are slow. Being constantly told that your best just isn't good enough.

Pros

- They hire social, outgoing, competitive individuals making it a fun place to work - Good training for the corporate world if you are new to the arena - Some people move up quickly though the system and are successful in a short period of time

Cons

- Mandatory long hours - minimum 55+ hours/week - Managers are promoted based on personal sales performance, not their ability to manage a business, leaving branches to be led by the blind. - Taking days off impacts entire areas due to stark, understaffed branches - The EPITOME of "overworked, underpaid" - Although the company claims to be built on honesty and integrity, competition is intense, driving some employees to do unethical things to get an advantage/get promoted. Upper management don't approve, but choose to look the other way because it makes them more money.
