      Pros

      The ability to see direct results of your decision making. Meet great people along the way.

      Cons

      Long hours as a result of lack of staffing, poor work environment. Mechanic and Autobody shops do not give you respect as you are at the bottom of the chain.

      Pros

      - Compensation: if you know how to work your pay plan and can hit some goals, you could make crazy money compared to other positions out there - Its not uncommon to double your pay year after year and come close to 6 figures even as a branch manager - Although not necessarly actually true, the reputation of Enterprise's training can help you get another career when its time to leave

      Cons

      - The more you do make, the more of a target you are because as much they preach pay, awards, and performance they are ultimately a business. So if they can get similar performance from someone else cheaper they will eventually find a way to force you to leave or terminate you without cause. - High turnover. Always short staffed. - Must be mobile to get promoted - Tough work/life balance - A lot of success in this business comes from luck (natural disasters, recalls, hoping certain customers don't get phone calls regarding service, etc.)

      Pros

      I have a very flexible schedule, and have movrd up very quickly within Enterprise. The opportunity for career growth is there for the right people, and the opportunity for advancement is there with hard work.

      Cons

      The salary offered at all levels is not comparable to similar positions with other companies. The higher in management you get, the less in line your salary will be in regards to comparable positions at other companies.
