Pros
The experience you get is second to none. You perform a number of responsibilities that transfer over to other careers. You get time outside washing cars when you're tired of the customers' complaining.
Cons
Playing favorites runs rampant when promotions are being considered. You can bust your butt all day long and all month and post great numbers (and it is a numbers game) but unless you prefer to kiss tail, don't expect much in return. Really long hours and workweeks for little pay. You would think with a promotion you would get some sort of increase in pay, but instead they cut your salary to give you a commission that amounts to less than your previous pay. Extremely annoying when you run a small branch. Raises almost never happen.
