      Good and Bad of Enterprise rent a car

      Pros

      If you have the right people working with you it is a fun energetic work atmosphere. Tons of room for quick advancement. Opportunity to run your own business. Good business and sales training.

      Cons

      Lots of hours. 7am to 6:30pm mon to fri and every second sat 9-1pm. Most manager at the larger branches work 55-60 week and need to take their employees for appetizers and drinks once a week or so as well. Makes it difficult on the home life.

      Pros

      starting out of college to get experience. Tough work though, and the pay is insanely low.

      Cons

      long hours, don't respect work life balance. Almost frowned upon to take vacation. There is defintely a "have and have not" mentality at ERAC. If you are liked, they can justify your promotion. If you are not, they can also justify that. Though deal when the people that run your company only have Bachelor Degrees and don't really have master or Business degrees.

      Pros

      They truly believe in work life balance. I appreciate the extra casual days, days off, happy carts etc. We also are on a first name basis with all of upper level management. When I first started with the company, I went to many meetings where I met the top brass of the company and felt like they were on the same level as me. It truly is a family atmosphere, unlike any other corporation you will ever work for. Which is why it is voted one of the best companies to work for.

      Cons

      The hours are rigid and long, dealing with frustrated customers can be a pain, but it is customer service!
