Pros

The people! I met wonderful people at ERAC and formed great friendships and relationships. Upward mobility and the opportunity to learn how to effectively manage people. Also a good company to have on your resume, especially if you're looking to stay in sales.

Cons

No work-life balance! If you become a manager, be prepared to work over 11 hours per day without a lunch break. Was never able to get important things accomplished in my personal life (i.e. doctors, dentist etc.). Performance plays a part, but EVERYTHING is politics. If upper management and corporate likes you, you will be promoted, so bleed green, drink the "kool-aid," and play the game to the best of your ability. They exaggerate promotion possibilities. It is possible to make 6 figures there, but it is highly unlikely and very difficult. A lot of gender discrimination, and some race discrimination(not a lot but I've seen it happen). In Philly your day will start around 7am and end after 6pm. Company Culture is terrible in some aspects. The company promotes hard work, and conditions and brain washes employees into believing that working 11+ day is normal and you shouldn't feel tired, or over-worked. Molds employees into believing that this is normal treatment and they should be excited to come to work and deal with being disrespected by customers and body shops. You will also work in snow storms, hurricanes, blizzards etc. I have worked in 15 feet of snow and the company will not close, your safety doesn't matter. COMPENSATION IS AWFUL.

Pros

Coworkers are great! You bond over long strenuous hours and a common enemy (the company and customers) FYI most of these positive reviews are made by employees who are told to post positive reviews by recruiters.

Cons

Well there isn't a limit to the cons, the hours are ridiculous! You're always watching your back and walking on eggshells at the threat of getting fired for non performance. Selling insurance products that you don't need. The people who drink the kool aid here are the worst their whole lives revolve around ERAC. Once you leave you see the light no person in their right mind would work that many hours for that low of pay. If u want to see what real employees say about working there go to the Facebook page "things I learned at enterprise" this way you get a real picture of what it's like to work here. Only reason they hire college grads right out of school Ian because they don't know any better. No 30 year old with a family would work here they have too much sense.
