Pros

I was able to be gain more experience in the event industry.

Cons

Entourage Events Group is Disorganized in all senses of the word. There is no structure to the company, and such a high turnover rate that people are not properly educated on job descriptions or expectations. There is no HR department or even HR employees so all of the issues that are going on and need to be addressed must be brought directly to the owner and even then they are not solved. There is no clear direction on who is each employees direct supervisor which constantly creates communication issues. Entourage is Unprofessional in the fact that issues are not handled directly with employees. Staff is spoken about poorly by management and is not given any clear instruction on execution until something is done incorrectly and then it is blown severly out of proportion and no solution is given. The owner and upper management react out of anger and irrationality often jumping to conclusions and discipline without taking the time to understand the situation or decision. Entourage is unstructured in management, job descriptions, and overall operations. There is a lack of responsibility to address relevant and pressing issues within staffing and issues from event execution. There are multiple client complaints per event and none are handled properly. Entrouage does not work to prevent these issues from happening again, they just throw a discount or a credit at these problems without really taking the time to understand where the issues are coming from.

Pros

My co-workers were wonderful and we worked well together.

Cons

Entourage Events Group is a toxic and borderline abusive workplace. I left the company voluntarily due to the horrible company culture, lack of support, and unhealthy behavior. The offices look nice and professional, but don't fall for the facade! You are micro-managed and upper management (particularly the owner) uses scare tactics to manipulate employees. The company is disorganized, does not pay vendors or employees properly/on-time, and blames staff for all issues. There are far better event and catering companies in the Twin Cities that are a dream to work for, so do not waste your time and talent with Entourage.

Pros

The venues are pretty, but it's just a facade.

Cons

Where to start... The lying, deceiving, micromanaging owner believes he is doing you a favor by employing you. You will never be appreciated, you will not have the ability or means to do your job, and you will end up feeling depressed and defeated like the rest of us. If you are reading this and thinking to yourself, "I am strong, I can handle it" YOU CAN'T. I was part of one of the most incredible teams in the industry - but they are all gone. If your bonus structure seems too good to be true - it is. They don't pay out commission, reimburse for expenses, or even pay staff on time. I can assure you - you would be better off working at a fast food chain than Entourage Events Group.
