Pros

The general office culture is great. There are a lot of great people who work at the company. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere, depending on the department you are in. It's a great product in general. There is a decent amount of room go grow.

Cons

The pay and benefits could be much better for the hourly positions. They don't get paid holidays or paid time off. Upper management is great, but middle management leaves something to be desired. Also, if you aren't a white male, good luck getting an upper management position. There isn't a single female in the bunch. They seem to rotate the management positions among the same circle of men instead of promoting someone from the teams. They have a habit of promising raises, that don't actually pan out and definitely don't have competitive wages. It's VERY clear that the Development teams and Marketing team are the golden children of the company. They often get extravagant gifts, (vacations, motorcycles, large amounts of money), and are pretty much the only ones to get any kind of awards within the company. Every other department works harder then Marketing, who spend their time deciding which cheap little toys to give away to clients, but none get recognition for it. There is WAY too much change and too quickly. It always happens suddenly, without warning, and creates huge changes often undoing months of work. Whether it's changes in management or new teams being created. Also, It is not uncommon for the best employees at the company to be there one day and fired the next.

Company could be good but some aspects aren't there yet

Pros

This is a great company that is growing fast and has a very fun culture. They do company wide retreats and monthly company update meetings. Execs seem to care about employees and lookout for their well being.

Cons

Due to the company growing fast, there are some growth issues that need to be worked out but that comes with any growing company. Also the company needs to look at the crumbling of the SEO department. Due to the lack of SEO experience and skills, the SEO strategy that is developed for clients is minimal at best. There is a lot of talk with little to no solid strategy. The lack of managerial skills just adds to the mess. Which explains why there has been around 100% employee turnover in less than one year. Favorites are played and if your opinion is different, you are on the blacklist with no way to get off. There is no true open communication because of the blacklist fear.

Instability and lack of documentation

Pros

There are a lot of talented, fun people who work here. The benefits package is competitive. Break room snacks are good.

Cons

Management changes your job out from underneath you, adding mandatory weekend work or such. Too many resources are dedicated to pleasing new or potential clients; not enough are dedicated towards documentation, stability, and internal functionality. If you rise too high on the ladder, you may be arbitrarily fired or demoted. Products break regularly CEO priorities shift too often to be practical.
