Pros

Entrata has a distinctive culture that it tries very hard to live by. Most people really like the values Entrata espouses. There are a lot of really good people at Entrata who do good work and who care about others. They try to provide a good work/life balance.

Cons

Some departments are easier to work in than others. There could be improvement made by providing better training and leadership development for many of the managers. Pay, particularly the benefits package, could be improved quite a bit. The CEO, while passionate, is also a liability in many ways.

Pros

Entrata does a great job of mixing work and play. Very fun work environment, lots of great company activities throughout the year. There are a lot of great benefits as well. On site gym with brand new equipment. Free Monthly 15 minute massages on site. Several movie premieres a year.

Cons

There is some poor management in certain departments. Lots of server crashes. If you’re an attractive female you will do well here. Meaning there is some favoritism from some directors. . I would say the pros definitely outweigh the cons, but there are annoyances.

Pros

The Major Pro – the Team. I work with amazing and incredibly talented professionals at Entrata. We care about each other and we hang out after work. We even go on trips together. The Second Major Pro – professional Growth. Entrata has exploded in growth in the last few years. With that, lots of change has followed. This change has challenged many employees, while others have thrived along the way. I'd say that this "change" is the major Pro at Entrata because it brings about so many opportunities for an individual to grow professionally. At Entrata, I've been faced with hundreds of projects that have stretched and pushed me to new levels and I believe that it is this constant “push” that elevates professionals. What I can honestly say is that this fast paced and ever changing environment is the ideal place for those that exhibit talents such as: Achiever, Adaptability, Deliberative, Restorative, and Strategic. As a digital marketer, my typical day is driven and dictated by me – I’m not told what to do, when to do it, or how to do it. Of course, this is achieved way after the typical formal training and digital marketing training. However, this autonomy is eventually achieved. For some, this is uncomfortable; however, for me, it has been the perfect template to showcase initiative, problem solving, and consultative expertise. At the same time, Digital Marketing Consultants are offered an incentive bonus that is designed to promote business outcomes that are aligned with the direction of the company. Finally, it is important to note that Entrata is good at holding people accountable to what they say they are going to do – this is in line with our value called “be the real deal. I can say that I have elevated my resume significantly while at entrata. More often than not, the skills I’ve acquired have been the bi-product of projects that are “impossible” at first glance. Entrata likes to challenge the status quo (see our Be The Joneses value) and figuring things out becomes a common behavior. Again, for some this is good, for others, this uncertainty causes a lot of stress. I personally thrive in this type of environment. This has been one of the primary reasons why I now have skills and certifications that include technical SEO, the stack of Google products (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google AdWords, Google Developer Tools), Paid Ads Platforms (AdWords, Facebook, Bing), Intermediate javascript, beginner SQL, and more. Additionally, I’ve sharpened soft skills significantly having opportunities to conduct business cases, seminars, client webinars, client de-escalation, coaching, mentoring, leading, product development, etc. I’ve had to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and display utmost diplomacy to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. I’ve had to negotiate difficult discussion and crucial conversations. I’ll say this again, this is true professional growth. A formal title can follow if the time is right, if the opportunity presents itself, as the company changes, and if your performance has been high. The third major Pro – Leaders. I’ve had leaders that help me achieve goals, prove that they are invested in me, hold me accountable, and provide the structure needed to establish formal processes.

Cons

A lot of stuff is going on simultaneously at Entrata and at times, it can feel like too much. Sometimes you will have to wear lots of hats (typical with any growing business) and that can be a little stressful. I'd love to see entrata give more time off options. I'd like to see more flexibility with working from home at times (sometimes, a man just needs unobstructed and uninterrupted time away from the office to get things done). Finally, I would love for entrata to consider some of the more progressive paid paternity leave options (a man can wish :) )
