Pros

The fellowship offers an opportunity to build a fantastic network and hands-on project management experience. In addition, you also get great flexibility in shaping a solution to a pressing clean energy/environmental issue. All in all, a wonderful learning experience.

Cons

No constrains faced during fellowship duration.

Pros

The staff are smart, driven and really care about making the world a better place. EDF is highly effective and as staff it really feels like you're a part of having an important impact.

Cons

Typical nonprofit organizational issues - funding dictates priorities and these can shift when grantors change their priorities. This can be frustrating for program staff.
