Pros
Great mission, work life balance is great, colleagues and management are knowledgeable and motivated.
Cons
Its a regulatory position, so a lot more reading and not as much math as I'd like as an economist, but still challenging and learning a lot. Can feel bureaucratic and the rulemaking process is much slower and burdensome than I was expecting. Pay not as high as other government agencies for the work provided, but they make up with it with flexible schedules and generous telework.
