      Pros

      Pros: You get to work for a few months, pay a few bills and Lord have mercy on you if you have to pay child support and that is not for lack of love for your child.

      Cons

      You get to pay some of your bills while you work on a contract for 3 or 4 month and then it's back to the unemployment drawing board.

      Pros

      It was an awesome internship experience. Few government internships are paid. The work wasn't too hard, but the opportunity to learn was always present.

      Cons

      There was a lot of down time and many of the senior employees seemed to be employed for no really apparent reason other than government bureaucracy.
