Pros

They will hire ANYBODY. Flight benefits if you can afford to go anyplace on a minimum wage salary. If your young, single, no kids, it might be a good fit.

Cons

Zero money is invested in Ramp Employees. Equipment is unsafe. Furniture in break rooms is harvested from dumpsters. Cockroaches, mice, rats everywhere. No heat or a/c in Int'l bag room. Employees forced to work overtime. Most administrative employees don't want to help you resolve issues. Promotions and job advancement are nearly impossible. If you are injured on job company will treat you like a criminal and try to make you quit. Medical benefits insurance costs are out of reach for average Fleet Service Clerk. Management is constantly looking for ways to punish ramp employees and it makes for an adversarial relationship and tense and stressful atmosphere in what should be an enjoyable job. Very high turnover of employees. I've never been to jail but imagine it's a lot like Envoy.

Pros

You work with a diverse group of front line coworkers that are like a large slightly dysfunctional but fun, caring extended family. The ability to travel to distant locales still holds its appeal. Dynamic working environment never gets boring.

Cons

The company management does not appreciate the hard work of its front line workers and major employee base. Long hours that are not properly compensated. The bankruptcy still has extensive negative effects on the morale of the employees
